Salary: $260,000 plus 11% Superannuation

Our client, Engineering Solutions and Services Pty Ltd specializes in innovative energy-saving lighting solutions for both commercial and residential settings. The comprehensive service extends from installation to facilitating government rebates, with a significant focus on reducing energy costs and enhancing sustainability.

The company is navigating through a period of substantial growth, evidenced by exponential increase in turnover, the need for a strategic, dynamic, and experienced CEO has become paramount to guide the company operations to the next level.

The CEO will play a critical role in shaping the company's strategic direction, driving operational excellence, and ensuring sustained growth. The CEO will lead major strategic initiatives and foster a culture of innovation and efficiency across the organisation. The CEO will be responsible for leading the Senior Management Team in ensuring high quality and innovative product/service delivery that meets all quality, operational and financial targets.

The CEO will also lead and direct business development, community engagement and manage the day-to-day operations of the organisation to achieve optimum outcomes as well as effective use of human resources and business assets.

This CEO role is not just a position but a pivotal part of journey towards innovative leadership and sustainable growth. The incumbent will ensure that Engineering Solutions and Services Pty Ltd not only meets its current goals but also establishes itself as a leader in sustainable practices.

You will be leading a fast-paced business during a period of significant growth and change. As a result of your strong leadership skills and operational excellence you will successfully ensure the strong culture and reputation is maintained. You will build and implement new systems and processes aligned to continued growth and continuously implement improvements and operational efficiencies.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Relevant qualification at the level of an AQF equivalent Bachelor’s degree or higher, OR at least 5 years of relevant work experience in lieu of relevant education.
  • At least a minimum of 2 years of full time and relevant work experience in leading a similar organisation is required in addition to the education requirements.
  • Extensive executive-level experience, preferably in a related industry, demonstrating a successful track record in managing substantial organisational growth.

In this role your main responsibilities include:

·      Develop high-level strategies in alignment with the company's vision and market opportunities.

·      Lead the execution of strategic plans to ensure the company meets its short-term and long-term goals

·      Oversee daily operations while ensuring the company's financial and operational targets are met.

·      Oversee the production, procurement, and planning cycles to ensure they are efficient and cost-effective.

·      Monitor key performance indicators across all departments to gauge progress and implement adjustments where necessary.

·      Direct the company’s financial goals, objectives, and budgets.

·      Lead, motivate, and develop high-performing teams to ensure human capital aligns with strategic objectives.

·      Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring open lines of communication.

·      Initiate projects to integrate new technologies that can improve operational efficiency and product offerings.

·      Facilitate the adoption of innovative practices across the company to enhance product development and customer service.

·      Represent the company in critical negotiations with suppliers, clients, and business partners to secure favourable terms and opportunities.

·      Represent the company at major industry events, seminars, public hearings, and forums.

·      Identify key risks to the business and implement appropriate mitigation strategies.

·      Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.

·      Encourage a team-oriented environment that promotes collaboration and shared success across all levels of the company.

·      Develop long-term plans to promote sustainability in business practices, reducing environmental impact while maintaining profitability.

  • Proven experience in strategic planning, organisation development, and governance.
  • Confidence as a hands-on leader who builds high-performing and accountable teams within fast growth companies that covet a customer-centric culture
  • Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Deep understanding of business functions such as HR, Finance, Marketing, etc.
  • Robust analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to foster a healthy organisational culture.
