Appointment Pool

Warnbro Community High School Education Support Centre (CHS ESC) are seeking to establish a pool for appointments to permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2024 school year up until Term 2 2025. Appointments can be made from the pool at any time for commencements within 2024 school year up until Term 2 2025.

The suitable applicants will ideally undertake administrative tasks, whilst providing the school community with excellent support. The Administration Support Officer provides a customer-focused service to internal and external clients and attends to routine reception and client enquiries, answers incoming telephone calls and directs enquiries to the appropriate officer in a timely manner. In addition, you will ideally prepare general correspondence, notices and other material.

Suitable applicants will ideally have experience using computer applications and possess data management skills to ensure administrative tasks are completed in a timely manner. Experience in the use of the Adobe Creative Suite is desired, but not a requirement. This role would require applicants to be able to manage their time effectively therefore strong organisation skills and the ability to prioritise tasks and communicate effectively is highly desired.

This selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy. Applicants assessed as suitable during this selection process may be considered for other similar vacancies that occur throughout our school for up to 12 months following this initial appointment. This includes circumstances where this position becomes subsequently vacant should the successful applicant decline or vacate the advertised position. 

To be suitable for this role, you will need to demonstrate the following work related requirements:

Good verbal and written communication skills and experience in the application of customer service principles and practices. Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively and constructively as part of a team. Experience in the use of computer application systems, including databases, spreadsheets and word processing software. Initiative and good organisational skills, including the ability to manage conflicting timelines. Skills and experience in providing administrative support.
