We are looking for an experienced Buyer’s Assistant to join our Commercial Team supporting them with new brands, product onboarding, inventory management, supplier relationships, promotional activity and more.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Monitoring sales and providing analysis within categories and promotional activity
  • Assist new stores with opening orders
  • Support with all promotional activity
  • Maintain data integrity within the POS system in accordance with Supplier trading terms
  • Monitor Sales and Purchase Order & Replenishment with the Ecommerce team
  • Liaise with suppliers on promotional activity & follow up
  • Manage communication to the network
  • Manage project timelines

The ideal person will have the following:

  • A minimum of 2 years’ proven experience in retail buying / planning
  • Outstanding organizational and strong administration skills
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient computer skills (especially Excel)
  • Strong verbal and written communication with the ability to build robust relationships
