Apparent Communications
Senior Content Producer
Redfern
Full-time
Job description
Allow us to introduce ourselves
We’re Apparent, a full-service, independent agency made up of 140 thinkers, creators and solution-makers doing what we do best. One thing you should know about us: we’ve got an entrepreneurial spirit, and we know the work worth doing doesn’t fit into neat, tidy boxes. And neither should you, for that matter. Our warehouse space in Redfern is here for you to gather, make stuff you’re proud of and grow your strengths (even if they have nothing to do with your job description).
We punch well above our weight, with some of the biggest clients in the world on our roster, from tech giants like Google and VMware, to local icons like Tourism Australia and Cricket Australia. Our approach? We call it the red thread. In other words, it’s the thing that connects everything we do, from the customer, through to the client and brand. On any given day you can expect to cross paths with someone in strategy, brand, creative, content production, social media, UX/UI, technology and media planning and buying. Oh and dogs, too. You’ll definitely cross paths with adorable dogs.
A few things you’ll like about working here:
A flexible and hybrid working policy Generous parental leave and summer days off Heaps of growth and training opportunities 24/7 access to our employee assistance program for you and your family
The role
We require a Senior Content Producer, who will provide customer-centric production services to deliver integrated content and overall event support at the highest level possible for Google Global, through a mastery of production skills and service.
You’ll get to deliver the best creative and omni-channel outputs for international event productions with high visibility. You will be responsible for making things happen, everything from the initiation of a project to reporting on delivery across a variety of channels.
The role is to:
Manage medium to large integrated projects/programs of work for Google Global across multi-channel outputs delivering Video, Display, Social, Search, Print and Experiential with a supporting mid-level production team as part of your extended team. Managing multiple projects from end-to-end, including discovery, SOW and requirements documentation, estimating, timeline management, resourcing, budget management, and project status reporting. Define delivery approach for complex event content productions and manage multiple workstream dependencies, consistently working with project team to improve efficiencies throughout. Manage creation and production of various event content deliverables such as; keynote presentations including script, design, animation and final AV asset delivery, product demonstrations involving interactive UI prototypes and/or .mp4 examples, printed / fabricated assets including event signage, experiential builds, and merchandise, digital asset rollouts. Attend and support events and shoot production as required. Vendor selection and contract negotiations for specialist outputs. Manage post-production projects involving edit, animation, audio, finishing and rollout.
Skills
You will need:
Minimum of 5+ years as an integrated content producer at an agency or production company, ideally with major event knowledge First-rate project management skills with an ability to manage multiple projects at once Experience resourcing and managing project teams of up to 15 people depending on the disciplines required for each specific project. Expertise in internal and external people and stakeholder management, forward planning, and relentlessly solutions-focused. Outstanding attention to detail, loads of initiative and motivation to learn new tools To be eager to grow and expand your production skills To follow robust Production processes to deliver all your projects on time, on budget, and to the highest production value possible for the scope of the project. Strong creative problem-solving and organisational skills Focused, organised and effective in challenging environments. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Can effectively engage at every level of the organisation, across several departments. Able to replicate competencies and raise up team members. A strong understanding of event AV and live event production planning is a plus. Experience with workflow management tools such as JIRA, WorkBook, Frame IO, and Figma is a plus.
