**The Role**

As a Social Content Producer, you'll be at the forefront of SBS's social media strategy, producing distinctive and impactful content that engages audiences and cuts through the digital noise. You'll collaborate across teams to create social-first content that builds affinity for the SBS brand and champions innovation in the social media space. Here are some of the key responsibilities:

- Create compelling short and long-form video and visual content for SBS's On Demand and SBS Australia social platforms, including editing scene lifts, conducting on location shoots and interviews, and producing arresting static content.
- Develop, produce, and elevate the quality of SBS’s social media content, inspiring innovation within the Social Team and supporting other departments in creating content that aligns with SBS’s values and resonates with audiences.
- Manage social content plans for small to mid-level marketing campaigns.
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to uncover new social content opportunities.
- Embody an analytical mindset in understanding social media performance data to refine content strategies.

**About you**
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (particularly Premiere Pro) and Canva
- Experience in social publishing, with strong knowledge of YouTube, TikTok, and other key platforms.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management and the ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
- Understanding of Australian media law and editorial standards.
