We have an amazing opportunity for an enthusiastic Commercial Team Leader to join our Team here at Sydney Tower Eye and part of the wider attraction group, including SEA LIFE Sydney Aquarium, WILDLIFE Sydney Zoo and Madame Tussauds Sydney.

About the Role

Working closely with the Head of Commercial for Sydney, you will lead and support all commercial outlets within Sydney Tower Eye. The Commercial department delivers high quality products with guest satisfaction, product quality and food safety as the main order of business.

The Commercial Team Leader Role holds responsibility for all facets of the operation across the commercial departments, focusing on motivating & driving staff to deliver excellent customer service during every interaction.

About You

We are looking for someone who is experienced in the tourism/ hospitality industry and is looking to grow their career The ideal candidate will have a high attention to detail and be driven by delivering the best product to our guests through an engaged & highly motivated team environment. You will have over 5 years’ experience in the customer service industry, positioned in fast-paced environments that have a focus on meeting financial targets & overall guest experience. You will be an expert at prioritization & delegation in situations that demand fast service & managing various expectations of internal & external customers.

The successful candidate will have sound knowledge of staff coaching and be able to deliver constructive feedback to employees of varying ages & abilities. You will be proactive in your approach to engaging staff to deliver excellent customer service during every encounter and demonstrated experience in guest recovery situations.

To excel in this role you will be able to adopt a strategic focus to continually improve and develop our department whether that is from food quality, cost control, customer satisfaction or mystery shops.
