About the role

We’re seeking a Communications Delivery Coordinator to join our team

As Transurban delivers on its digital-first, customer-obsessed strategy, the Communications Delivery and Design Stream will be critical in helping to reimagine our customer experiences and uplifting our business processes to create better outcomes.

As the Communications Delivery Coordinator you’ll support the delivery of Transurban’s outbound communications through eDM, SMS, print and other channels. You’ll oversee the processing and delivery of critical communications, and help to deliver process uplift and enhancements.

Day-to-day, you will:

  • Conduct process mapping, file monitoring, reconciliations and address issues related to customer communications processing
  • Provide project support by documenting team deliverables and timelines, ensuring timely delivery with stakeholders
  • Manage initiatives involving third-party mail house and internal stakeholders, including building, testing, delivery, billing, and reporting
  • Identify and resolve minor incidents concerning communications delivery and processing, while escalating major incidents when necessary and assisting in resolution activities
  • Handle financial administration tasks such as accruals, invoice reconciliation, stock management, and reporting
  • Represent the stream on cross-functional project teams and squads
  • Support testing to guarantee accurate template population and smooth functioning of data files and communication processes

This role will suit someone with a curious mind and transferrable skills and experiences, including:

  • Demonstrated experience in coordinating business processes, management of third-party mail house and/or project delivery. Preferably within customer operations, communications or similar environment
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills, with a strong administrative focus and enthusiasm for understanding and improving processes
  • Ability to apply critical thinking and business acumen when mapping, designing or refining business processes
  • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and collaborate with a variety of people
  • Strategic thinking, curiosity and a continuous improvement mindset
  • A builder of relationships, you won’t be afraid to challenge the status quo, helping to problem solve through your ability to understand process and coordinate various moving parts
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal with the ability to consult, influence and negotiate
