Role Description/Criteria

Calling All Graduates 

We are seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Graduate teacher.

This graduate position comes with high levels of support through:

The successful applicant must be able to demonstrate:

  • an ability to work as a part of a professional learning team and a commitment to engaging in professional dialogue
  • a commitment to learning and continuous improvement
  • a willingness to embrace contemporary learning and teaching practices
  • a commitment to learning and embracing a hands on learning philosophy and pedagogy  
  • a commitment to use data effectively in planning for personalised learning (all supported through facilitated planning)
  • a commitment to creating an environment where the emotional, social and educational wellbeing of students is paramount
  • an ability to embrace digital technology and purposely integrate it into an engaging curriculum

Special Requirements

The successful applicant must:

  • hold current VIT registration
  • be accredited to teach Religious Education in a Catholic school or be willing to undertake accreditation studies
  • have a strong knowledge of the Child Safe Standards and commitment to Child Safety.
