Logistics Order Processing Officer

The Company:
Our client is a worldwide well-known and highly respected brand in the electronics industry. This position reports to the Order Fulfillment Manager based at the Sydney Olympic Park Office. This position is 4-days in the office, and 1-day WFH.
About the role:
This role as the SOD Offer will be required to manage the inflow of Inbound (incoming orders and enquiries) requests. All inbound and outbound request/workflow need to be managed in a strong and timely manner to ensure all requests are processed within tight perimeters to promote smooth transition of order processing. Diligence with reviewing each request is required and any anomalies need to address with internal or external stakeholders.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Sales Order Desk Functions
- End to end order management process,
- Align with internal stakeholders (Supply Chain, Logistics, and account/product managers) to ensure stock availability meets the customer’s delivery requirements.
- Ensure daily tasks including Booking responses processed by the end of the day,
- Ensure all week/end of month sales targets are finalised by required closing dates. This may require out of business hours work to close all last minute processing for on-time delivery
- Identify and build strong stakeholder relationships with technical, sales team and customers through the business.
- Reporting back to team leader/manager in regards to outstanding tasks and escalating where necessary
- Identify and support other Team members where needed
About YOU:
- Preferred exposure in the FMCG industry (desirable)
- Experience dealing with confidential information and sensitive issues regarding pricing and new product launches
- Knowledge and experience with SAP/ERP is advantageous
