ABOUT THE ROLE  

The Beckley, our in-house café with chef prepared meals, barista made coffee and all-day snacks that fuels our people at our Global Support Centre (GSC) in Geelong has an exciting opportunity available for a Hospitality Manager. As the Hospitality Manager, in partnership with our Head Chef, you will lead the restaurant team and operations by delivering exceptional customer experience, team engagement and financial model to drive performance of the café and connect our people as they collaborate in the central hub of our Geelong Campus. This role will see you:

  1. Oversee restaurant operations to ensure maximum efficiency
  2. Lead and develop high quality execution and customer experience
  3. Lead and execute GSC events including catering, beverages and set up
  4. Manage and evaluate team member performance including team engagement, training, development and recruitment
  5. Oversee stock control quantities and equipment quality in line with financial model
  6. Responsible for delivering budget to the financial model, including COG expenses, weekly wages and sales
  7. Exceptional communication and relationship management with internal and external stakeholders
  8. Driving the team to love what they do and create an exciting work environment

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  1. Minimum 5 years’ experience in a fast-paced volume café or similar
  2. Commercial acumen to drive financial model
  3. Strong customer service skills
  4. Proven leader for a diverse team
  5. Stock control management
  6. Strong commitment to safety and compliance
  7. Problem solving skills, including the ability to adapt to a dynamic and ever-better environment
  8. Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability confidently communicate with all levels of stakeholder
  9. Ability to work with cross-functional teams including product teams and key stakeholders
  10. Proven planning, organisational and time management skills to adhere to timelines
