We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Cafe Manager to join our team. As the Cafe Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of daily operations to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the café. From managing staff and budgets to maintaining high standards of customer service, this role offers a unique opportunity to lead a dedicated team in delivering an exceptional dining experience.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage day-to-day operations of the café, including staff scheduling, inventory management, and vendor relations.
- Recruit, train, and supervise café staff, ensuring they adhere to company policies and provide excellent customer service.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimise efficiency, minimise costs, and maximise profitability.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, communication, and professional growth.
- Coordinate with the kitchen team to ensure timely preparation and delivery of food and beverages.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a prompt and courteous manner.
- Monitor sales performance and identify opportunities for revenue growth.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- A passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
- Certification in hospitality or related fields is a plus.

- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Afternoon shift
- Day shift
- Morning shift
- Shift work

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)

Ability to Commute:

- Geelong VIC (required)

Ability to Relocate:

- Geelong VIC: Relocate before starting work (required)
