Job Opportunity: Dual role - Medical Receptionist/Contact Centre Agent  

Are you a multitasking superstar with a passion for healthcare and exceptional customer service? Look no further We have an exciting opportunity for a Dual Role - Medical Receptionist/Contact Centre Agent to join our team at I-MED Radiology Hornsby with occassional travel to our Chatswood clinic . The position is a full time, permanent position with 7.5 hour shifts scheduled Monday - Friday between the core hours of 6:45am-9pm .

Role Overview:

As a Dual Role - Medical Receptionist and Contact Centre Agent, you'll be the friendly face at our clinic reception desk and the voice on the other end of the phone. Your responsibilities will include: 

Medical Receptionist Duties: 

Greet patients warmly and create a welcoming atmosphere.  Efficiently manage appointment bookings, cancellations, and rescheduling.  Handle patient inquiries, ensuring accurate information is provided.  Maintain patient records and assist with administrative tasks.  Collaborate with our clinical team to ensure smooth clinic operations. 

Contact Centre Agent Duties:  

Answer incoming calls promptly and professionally.  Assist patients with general inquiries, appointment confirmations, and follow-ups.  Provide empathetic support and guidance during phone interactions.  Document call details accurately in our system.  Collaborate with other contact centre agents to meet service level targets. 

Qualifications and Skills: 

Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).  Proficiency in using phone systems and basic computer applications.  Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.  Prior experience in medical reception or call centre roles is advantageous. 

Desired Traits: 

Empathy and patience when dealing with patients over the phone.  Strong organizational skills to manage both reception and call centre responsibilities.  Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.
