About the Role

This is a front of house customer facing role, working closely with customers, assisting optometrists and other team members.  Optical experience is welcome but not necessary; training will be provided for the successful applicant.  There are leadership opportunities for an applicant displaying exceptional skills in both leadership and management.

Duties

  • Engage closely with patients to assist with lens and frame selection
  • Dispensing prescriptions prescribed by the optometrist
  • Patient care
  • Perform ancillary testing to support our optometrists
  • Uphold professional standards
  • Facilitate and foster teamwork and communication within the team and practice directors
  • Be responsible for reception and general administration duties

Skills & Experience

  • Retail & sales experience
  • Strong computer and administration skills
  • Leadership & exceptional communication – both verbal and written
  • Demonstrated customer service
  • Adaptable and willing to learn
