Sandhurst Catholic Early Childhood Education and Care is an established EYM providing high quality early childhood education and care across the Sandhurst Diocese. Established in 2021, our mission is to provide excellence in learning and teaching, where each child and family is respected and welcomed as part of God's family, and accompanied and supported on their journey of holistic development.

Snapshot of what you will do:

  • Designing, executing, and evaluating educational programs and practices.

  • Guiding and nurturing the wellbeing, learning, and development of children in their care.

  • Offering leadership on teaching methodologies (i.e., pedagogy).

  • Coaching, mentoring, and overseeing staff.

  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with early learners and their families.

  • Adhering to service policies and legislation, while assisting other educators to do the same.

About You:

  • Have a sound understanding and knowledge of contemporary early childhood development and education.

  • Can develop, document and implement high quality appropriate education programs.

  • Successful applicant/s will need to demonstrate a commitment to child safety and the vision and philosophy of Sandhurst Catholic Early Childhood Education and Care ltd.

  • Be registered as an Early Childhood Teacher with the Victorian Institute of Teaching and continue to renew/maintain the registration during the course of employment.

  • All successful applicants will be required to have satisfactory probity checks which includes a Victorian Working with Children Check (WWCC), Police Check, first aid and CPR certificate.
