Successful candidates will have:
A relevant bachelor's degree, with 5+ years of experience in a comparable position.
Outstanding research skills including the ability to analyse, synthesise and summarise complex information from a range of sources and develop policy recommendations.
Experience developing and interpreting policy, analysing data and information, preparing and reviewing policy papers, reports, presentations, briefings and correspondence.
Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills and the evaluation of problems from multiple perspectives and implementation of effective solutions.
Experience relating to behavioural change, road safety, transport or mobility is desirable.
Strong understanding of the Tasmanian political and legislative landscape.
Superior written and verbal communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills with the ability to professionally represent RACT externally.
Enjoy engaging with and supporting members.
Organised and able to work relatively autonomously on a range of tasks and projects simultaneously. Show sound judgement and know when to seek guidance when needed.
Passionate about the RACT's role as a mutual organisation and the advocacy role we play in the Tasmanian community.
