The Company
Our client is seeking an experienced and passionate Project Manager to join their team on a 12 month contract. You will play a key role in delivering a variety of exciting community infrastructure projects, enhancing public spaces and improving the lives of the community. Due to a very strong pipeline of work planned, this client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to support them through this period of growth.
The Role
Responsibilities
As Project Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of your projects. This includes but is not restricted to:
Manage project from scope through to completionAdhere to contractor's design, monitoring, WHS, reporting, quality, issues resolution frameworkProviding technical advice to project team members whilst building and maintaining effective relationships with internal and external stakeholdersMeeting project deadlines and ensuring that commitments and expectations are metManage delivery of work to meet budgetsDaily site diary updating and report any impact on the project scheduleEnsure optimum utilisation of resources (material, machinery, manpower) allocated to the projectReview contract terms and conditions with State construction manager & legal teamSubmit delays, claims, variations, EOT or any other notices to the client in accordance with the contract
About You
Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.Proven experience in managing community infrastructure projects.Experience in coastal and community projects highly regarded.Strong understanding of project management methodologies and best practices.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team
