Ingenia has an available Accounts Payable Supervisor opportunity that will be based out of our state-of-the-art Brisbane Support Office in Hamilton. This role will manage a team of 5 team members, working to continually optimise accountants payable procedures and the relationships with our frontline teams and suppliers.

**Responsibilities**
- Manage a team of people to assist with making valid and timely payments to suppliers in accordance with Group policy
- Manage the capture of invoices in Automated AP system.
- Follow up any posting errors between Automated AP system and JD Edwards.
- Process and pay all invoices in an accurate and timely manner.
- Assist with enquiries regarding status of invoices.
- Review open invoice report and follow up.
- Supplier statement reconciliations.
- Set up new Suppliers in JDE once approved by management.
- Enforce policy and controls surrounding designated expenditure authority limits.
- Evaluate the workload and recommend changes on how to organise the work load more effectively.
- Manage daily, weekly and monthly transactions across accounts payable to ensure deadlines are met.
- Responsible for employee administration of the Expense Management system.
- Upload credit card information and staff reimbursements from Expense Management System to JD Edwards.
- Reconcile the Accounts Payable Control account in the General Ledger to the sub-ledger each month.
- Assist with the improving relationships with internal and external suppliers.
- External liaison with: Auditors, bankers (as required) and suppliers

**About You**
- Good knowledge of an accounts payable function within a centralised service centre environment
- Ability to identify opportunities for improvement and the subsequent pro-active management of such opportunities.
- Practical knowledge of the requirements of the GST and FBT legislation as it relates to the AP function.
