About the role
The Administration Officer will provide efficient, effective, and confidential administrative support to members of the Research and Innovation team / QCMHR incorporating established priorities, task methodology and work practices to achieve results in line with the corporate goals of the [unit / programs. This role also is required to effectively liaise with employees at all levels and disciplines both within the Health Service and external organisations / within the organisation, Queensland Health, collaborating universities, government departments and the public in relation to the core business of the Program.
About you
- Demonstrated high level interpersonal skills and problem-solving ability underpinned by well-developed written and oral communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work as a courteous and co-operative team member with a high level of autonomy to manage daily workloads and to contribute towards achieving the goals of the team.
- Demonstrated ability to plan, meet deadlines and prioritise workloads while working autonomously with mínimal supervision.
- Knowledge of, or ability to rapidly acquire knowledge of, research administration in accordance with Queensland Health and/or University of Queensland policies and guidelines.

**Mandatory Requirements**:

- Vaccinated against, and remain vaccinated against, certain vaccine preventable diseases (VPD) as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO. 01/16
