- Simply helping is looking for staff for Casual, Part-time, Full-time and sub contractual basis. When working with our team we will try to ensure that all staff have the opportunity to work their desired hours of work. Our pooling rostering system allows for all staff to claim shifts, and are also called to be offered shifts directly. We encourage staff to work alongside our specialised team of administration staff to ensure that your clients receive the best care that we can provide._
- When onboarded, we provide a list of clients to kickstart your employment to reach your desired hours. It may take time to build these hours, however, we aim to reach these hours within 3 weeks of your employment date. When connecting you with clients, it is your decision to accept or deny any shift based on your comfortability._
- Clients hours are subsequent to their Funding allocations, although, we enforce a current minimum engagement of 2 hours and provide broken shift allowances for all staff. We require a cancellation notice of 24 hours for clients and staff are paid for their shifts if this notice is not met._
- **Qualities we are Looking for in an applicant**:_
- Capacity to work effectively both as a sole worker and as a member of a multi-disciplinary team and adapt quickly to a changing environment._
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills including empathy and the ability to initiate and maintain strong contacts with families and Service Users and represent the organisation in a positive and professional manner._
- Decisions should reflect practice covered by both Simply Helping and our processes, procedures and policies._
- The person will demonstrate an understanding and knowledge of the issues faced by our aged population and people living with a disability and its impact on individuals and possess a positive and contemporary attitude to those people._
- A commitment to achieving positive outcomes for Service Users, and for Simply Helping, utilising planned results to ensure and measure customer-focus and satisfaction._
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong experience working in the community, Aged Care and/or the Disability sector.
- Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work without direct supervision.
- Comfortable with a high level of accountability.

**Minimum Requirements**:
- international/ National Police Check
- Current Australian driver's licence with access to a car
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate.
- NDIS Worker Screening Check or A valid Working with Children's Check
- A minimum of a Certificate III in working with Aged Care and/or Disability support and/or previous experience working as a Personal Care Assistant.
**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent, Subcontract, Casual
Part-time hours: 15 per week
**Salary**: $32.00 - $40.00 per hour
