**Your new role**

Hays is sourcing both a Project Support Officer and a Project Officer to provide project management services to support the expansion of the Document Verification Service (DVS) for the benefit of all Australians. The DVS is a part of a legislated identity verification services, including the Document Verification Service and the Face Verification Service. DVS is an on-line system which allows authorised Users, Gateway Service Providers and/or their customers to verify identifying information, presented as evidence of identity for certain individuals. Additionally, DVS aims to ensure identity verification services are secure and protect the privacy of Australians. This project has moved into its second phase, hence why this role has come on the market.
- As the Project Support Officer, you will report to the Project Manager for all phases of the project, and provide project support and administrative duties such as maintenance of registers, monitoring project related correspondence and supporting project reporting. You'll also be involved in stakeholder engagement and assistance with project governance.
- As the Project Officer, you will work closely with business areas and technical professionals to support project deliverables, change engagements, planning and scheduling activities, and develop and maintain project artefacts and communications.

**What you'll need to succeed**

For either PSO or the PO opportunities, you will succeed if you have:

- A Baseline Clearance
- Prior experience working on complex Federal Government ICT Projects in high-pressure environments, communicating with multiple stakeholders, and producing high-quality project documentation.
- Have the capacity to communicate with influence, across technical and non-technical groups, and be able to advocate for project deliverables and change messages at every opportunity.
- Ideally, have knowledge of Document Verification Service, and risk management and/or cybersecurity strategies to help inform deliverables.

This contract will initially be up to 12 months, with 4 x extensions of up to 12 months, which are available at the clients' discretion. Flexible working arrangements, with at least 3 days per week for face-to-face meetings based out of the Canberra office and the other 2 WFH.
