We're seeking a
Senior Financial Accountant
to join our Corporate Finance team. This is a career-defining opportunity for a finance professional looking to broaden their commercial skillset and play a key role in Levande's financial control function.
Why this role?
As part of a high-performing finance team, you'll be instrumental in ensuring the accuracy, completeness and timeliness of Levande's general ledger and reporting processes. You'll be hands-on across the end-to-end accounting cycle and contribute to financial close, reporting, automation and system improvements – all within a business on a strong growth trajectory.
Who are we looking for?
We're looking for a technically strong and commercially curious accountant, ideally someone currently at
Manager level in a leading global accounting firm (Big 4 or similar)
, who's ready to take the next step in their career. This is an ideal role for someone looking to transition into a dynamic in-house finance function and broaden their impact beyond advisory work.
You'll be CA or CPA qualified and bring a high level of technical rigour, analytical thinking, and stakeholder confidence—ready to make meaningful contributions in a fast-paced, growth-focused business.
This role is well suited to someone with:
Proven experience managing or performing month-end close, reconciliations and financial reporting
Strong working knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards and tax
Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work across multiple priorities
Confidence working with stakeholders and presenting financial insights
Experience in a property or retirement living environment (desirable but not essential)
What you'll do:
Own key month-end responsibilities including journals, reconciliations, variance analysis and fixed assets
Ensure integrity of the general ledger and support timely internal and external reporting
Collaborate with auditors and investors during reporting cycles
Contribute to automation initiatives and continuous process improvements
Act as a key contact for financial reporting queries within the broader business
