**About the team**:
We are Australia's international trade remedies authority - the Anti-Dumping Commission (the Commission). The Commission is responsible for undertaking investigations into allegations of unfair trade practices involving goods entering Australia and administering Australia's anti-dumping legislation. These investigations seek to deliver a level playing field for industry. Professionalism, excellence and independence underpins the Commission's world-class reputation.

The Operational Policy and Practice Taskforce (the Taskforce) sits in the Strategy and Legal branch of the Commission and operates from the Commission's Melbourne office, supported by outposted staff around Australia. The Taskforce is a small, dynamic, multi-disciplinary team, made up of people who are passionate about making a difference to the Commission's future of work. The Taskforce is responsible for facilitating, coordinating and addressing current and emerging issues identified through the continued implementation of improvement and reform initiatives.

- Experience contributing to outcomes in multi-disciplinary teams, and a positive, respectful and innovative workplace culture.
- Experience maintaining effective internal and external stakeholder relationships.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to distil complex issues to a range of audiences.

- Experience in providing direction to others regarding the purpose and importance of their work, including illustrating the relationship between operational tasks and organisational goals.
- Knowledge of or capacity to quickly acquire knowledge of Australia's anti-dumping and countervailing system, and related World Trade Organization (WTO) agreements.
- Knowledge or capacity to quickly acquire knowledge of the role of regulators in markets.
- High standards of professional and personal integrity consistent with APS Values, APS Code of Conduct.

**What you will do**:

Reporting to the Director, main elements of the role include:

- Developing and delivering advice on operational practice improvements.
- Supporting senior leadership to develop and implement business planning and continuous improvement.
- Managing your own work programs, projects and tasks, including delegating tasks.
- Directly managing staff to deliver Taskforce outcomes.
- Maintaining effective stakeholder relationships, including with other federal government departments.
- Contributing to a positive and productive team environment.
- Identifying challenges to the Commission's work through cross-communication and collaboration.
- Managing project and priority requirements.
- Researching and designing policy and practice solutions to these challenges.
- Providing timely, professional and purposeful advice throughout decision making.
- Engaging with Senior Executives on priorities and direction.
- Supporting all Anti-Dumping Commission staff in the implementation of policy and practice changes.
