To meet our growing demands, we are looking for an
**Economics Manager** to join our team.

**The Role**

**Reporting to the Group Financial Controller**, the purpose of this position is to manage the delivery of robust economic guidance to drive the ongoing development of the economics function and to assist in driving strategic improvements and making key value based outcomes.

This is a Brisbane based position and will require occasional travel to our field operations as required, with plenty of notice.

**In addition you will**:

- Manage the economic team in providing economic and analytical deliverables to the Arrow Board, Arrow Leadership team and business teams as a key parameter in framing and driving value-based decision making.
- Manage the identification, design and construction and implementation of fit-for-purpose economic models necessary to support the full ambit of Arrow's activities.
- Responsible for the robustness of economic models used inside Arrow through internal Arrow and shareholder peer review and assurance.
- Identify and encourage the development of team skills and capabilities to support best practice economic modelling, framing and presentation of results
- Demonstrate a personal commitment to consistently role model Arrow's values, code of conduct, safety and the environment.
- Establish positive and productive working relationships with key stakeholders.
- Model inclusive behaviours to create a safety environment where different views and perspectives are encouraged and valued.

**About You**
You will demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills along with the ability to contribute to a high performing-team with a second-to-none focus on safety and integrity.

**To be considered for this role, you will ideally have**:

- Masters or Graduate Certificate in Economics, Business or Finance
- Extensive experience in the unconventional / CSG industry.
- Strong influencing and negotiating skills to successfully question the status quo of a business operating in a financially and operationally dynamic business environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and management skills at the strategic and tactical levels.
- High level understanding of macro/micro economics.
- High level of organisational, communication and presentation skills.
- High level analytical and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to ethical business practice.
