**Who are we looking for?**

We're looking for **multiple Environmental Impact Assessors & Planners at varying levels of experience **, working within our **Sydney Environmental Assessment & Planning team.**

You would join a team of over 25 impact assessment and planning professionals working on a variety of projects from constraints analysis, review of environmental factors and statements of environmental effects to critical State significant infrastructure and State significant development Environmental Impact Statements across a range of markets.

**Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in**:

- Contributing, planning and/or owning the delivery of major Future Energy, Water, Defence, Transport, and Infrastructure approvals projects.
- Developing and maintaining client relationships
- Leading and contributing to the preparation of bids and proposals for projects
- Building strong collaborative relationships within GHD regionally, and nationally.

**What you will bring to the team**:

- Sound knowledge of the NSW Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979 and Commonwealth Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999
- Technical competence in environmental planning and approvals, environmental impact assessment, due diligence, land use planning and post-approvals
- Ability to work as part of multi-disciplinary teams and prepare assessment documents that are succinct, easy to understand and technically robust
- Strong communication, project management and project delivery skills including time management and the ability to influence and work on multiple projects at the same time.
- Demonstrated professional judgement and commercial acumen, including identifying, assessing, and providing solutions to brief and budget for key clients.
- Relevant tertiary education
