Development Assessment Planner Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Development Assessment Planner to work on proposals ensuring compliance with environmental plans, legislation, and regulations.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate proposals for compliance with local environmental plans (LEPs), development control plans (DCPs), and NSW planning legislation
  • Provide recommendations and reports for council decision-making or delegated approvals
  • Consult with residents, developers, government agencies, and other stakeholders on planning matters

Requirements:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Urban/Town Planning or equivalent
  • Minimum 3+ years experience in a Development Assessment Planning position or equivalent
