As part of Marriott International's award-winning Voyage Global Leadership Development Program, the Finance Voyager track offers recent graduates an 18-month, full-time immersion into the financial heartbeat of a luxury hotel.
You will rotate through key finance functions, including accounts payable and receivable, income audit, payroll, and financial reporting, mastering the systems and processes that underpin operational success.
Guided by a dedicated mentor and supported by our Ladies & Gentlemen, you will gain leadership skills, analytical expertise, and exposure to cross-functional hotel management.

Guided by experienced mentors, you will build on your academic foundation through hands-on assignments, real-world financial operations, and leadership-focused learning in one of the most iconic hotels in Australia.As a participant, you will gain direct access to senior leaders, seasoned finance professionals, and a global network of experts.
Through curated mini-rotations, you will experience firsthand the intricacies of managing hotel finances — from budgeting and forecasting to cost analysis and strategic planning — while connecting with current and former Voyagers through exclusive collaboration platforms.
Over the course of this full-time 18-month journey, you will be fully immersed in The Ritz-Carlton culture and the wider Marriott portfolio, developing the skills, confidence, and vision to set new benchmarks in luxury hospitality finance.The Experience You'll GainVoyage participants learn by doing.
You'll be fully immersed in the day-to-day operations of hotel finance.
If accepted into this elite program, you will:Cultivate strong financial and operational partnerships across hotel departmentsChampion innovation by identifying efficiencies in financial processesGain experience in budget management, forecasting, and financial reportingParticipate in audits, compliance checks, and revenue analysisLead or contribute to special projects designed to optimise profitabilityPresent findings and recommendations to leadership teamsDestination: Marriott LeadershipYou'll participate in management meetings, contribute to strategic decisions, and collaborate with Voyage participants worldwide.
You'll be expected to solve challenges, present innovative financial solutions, and contribute to business growth.
You will also have an opportunity to provide feedback on your curriculum and help shape the experience for future Voyage hires.
Upon graduation, you'll be well-prepared to step into a supervisory or entry-level management role within hotel finance, equipped with a strong foundation for a long-term leadership career.Ready to embark?
To become a Finance Voyage participant, you must have graduated from a university or business school within the past year.
