**About your new role**
Reporting to the investigations Manager, in this role you will review complaints and conduct investigations and inquiries on matters of concern to all areas of the business inclusive of employees, patrons and companies. You will be liaising with relevant business units, conducting investigations as required and ensuring that the Star remains free from criminal influence and exploitation.

**To** **be successful in this role you will have**:
- Demonstrated knowledge of the principles and practices of conducting investigations and evaluating evidence.
- Experience in compliance, investigation or other similar roles is desirable
- Understanding of laws as they relate to the Star including State and Commonwealth legislation and regulations.
- The ability to work with internal and external stakeholders including customers, law enforcement agencies and the regulator.
