Infrastructure Planning and Approvals Specialist
We're seeking a skilled professional to join our team and contribute to the delivery of major infrastructure projects across transport, water, energy, and property.
The ideal candidate will have 3-15 years of experience in environmental planning and approvals, with a strong track record of delivering great outcomes for clients and communities. They will also have a sound understanding of Queensland's environmental assessment frameworks and planning legislation.
Key responsibilities include:
Leading or contributing to major projects and approval strategies
Managing complex, multidisciplinary projects
Providing expert advice on major infrastructure projects
Collaborating with specialists across ecology, acoustics, land contamination, engineering, and design
A key aspect of this role is building strong client relationships across public and private sectors, as well as contributing to winning work through compelling proposals.
Recent projects have included strategic environmental assessments of emerging renewable energy technologies, planning approvals for iconic infrastructure projects, and supporting the rollout of Fast Rail initiatives and Zero Emissions Bus transitions.
