Your tasks and core responsibilities As part of a growing multidisciplinary project team, you will take on tasks such as:Project Management of renewable projects:Working on portfolio of onshore wind and hybrid projects in Australia and globally, delivering different services along the entire project lifecycleManaging and supporting diverse technical and commercial advisory services, ranging from owners engineering from early stage up to construction and O&M, feasibility and desktop studies and strategic advisoryDeveloping practical solutions to multifaceted problemsManaging complex, multidisciplinary project and communicating with clients in onshore wind / hybrid projectsSupporting our Clients to successfully deliver offshore wind projects in Australia and globallyBeing involved in technical spearhead topics (design and engineering related) and working on improvement applicable to the Australian marketDoing the contract management on behalf of client and internally.Supporting and leading various Business Development and tender activitiesGood knowledge of Ramboll's vast range of services to present to the ClientsUsing the internal expertise and knowledge to deliver and lead successful and diverse projects to the satisfaction of the ClientIdentify partners and contractors to complement our offering.
Identify candidates that could be recruited to develop a larger wind onshore team in Australia.Reporting to the Head of Wind for AustraliaA minimum of 5-7 years of working experience in engineering / project management in a professionalenvironment related to onshore renewable energies (Wind, Solar, BESS) energy;Proven track record of projects, industry reputation and network in AustraliaExperience in developing and managing a team in AustraliaHas been a part of a project team for a recently executed onshore wind projects in some capacityProfound industry knowledge and a thorough understanding of onshore renewable project development and execution and interfaces management, design and engineering, project economics, risks and commercial aspectsStrong knowledge of the Australian Standards, Supply chain, grid and Construction challengesBasic technical expertise in all core areas of an onshore wind farm / solar / BESS, specialization / subject matter expertise of benefitExperience in negotiating and executing complex construction contracts (EPCI and BoP) would be beneficialThe successful candidate will demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in his day to day work tasks and topics, and be proactive in proposing innovative and optimised solutions to keep up with Ramboll standards and reputationThe successful candidate will demonstrate ability to identify the needs for resources on projects and be able to develop a strong local team Welcome to our Energy division Ramboll is at the forefront of addressing the green transition and offers a holistic approach to energy that supports the sector on the journey towards more sustainable solutions.
