The company supports clients globally to identify, evaluate and quantify risks and opportunities, enabling informed decisions across project development, financing and execution.Our offerVaried and challenging tasks with a high level of autonomy and empowermentInternational working environment with flat hierarchies and a motivated teamTransparent corporate culture shaped by Scandinavian valuesOpportunity to bring in your individual skills and help shape innovationVersatile development opportunities in a dynamic and growing companyBeing part of a growing team contributing to a holistic approach of projectsAccess to global expertise in all advisory, design and engineering aspects of project developmentYour Tasks And Core ResponsibilitiesAs part of a growing multidisciplinary project team, you will undertake tasks including:Project Management of renewable projectsWork on a portfolio of onshore wind and hybrid projects in Australia and globally, delivering services along the entire project lifecycleManage and support diverse technical and commercial advisory services, including owners engineering from early stage through construction and O&M, feasibility and desktop studies, and strategic advisoryDevelop practical solutions to multifaceted problemsManage complex, multidisciplinary projects and communicate with clients in onshore wind / hybrid projectsSupport clients to successfully deliver offshore wind projects in Australia and globallyContribute to technical spearhead topics (design and engineering) and improvements applicable to the Australian marketContract management on behalf of client and internallyBusiness developmentSupport and lead various business development and tender activitiesHave good knowledge of Ramboll's services to present to clientsLeverage internal expertise to deliver successful projects and client satisfactionIdentify partners and contractors to complement offerings; identify candidates to grow the onshore wind team in AustraliaReport to the Head of Wind for AustraliaQualifications5–7+ years of engineering / project management experience in onshore renewable energies (wind, solar, BESS)Proven track record, industry reputation and network in AustraliaExperience in developing and managing a team in AustraliaPart of a project team for recently executed onshore wind projectsThorough understanding of onshore renewable project development, interfaces, design and engineering, project economics, risks and commercial aspectsStrong knowledge of Australian standards, supply chain, grid and construction challengesBasic technical expertise across core areas of an onshore wind farm / solar / BESS; subject matter expertise of benefitExperience negotiating and executing complex construction contracts (EPCI and BoP) would be beneficialFlexibility and adaptability in day-to-day tasks; proactive in proposing innovative and optimized solutionsAbility to identify resource needs on projects and develop a strong local teamAdditional informationRamboll is at the forefront of addressing the green transition and offers a holistic approach to energy.
