**About the Role**
In your role as a Healthcare Receptionist, you will be the face of Doveston Health, responsible for delivering exceptional service to patients of all ages and abilities. Reporting directly to the Clinic Manager and Senior Administration Staff, you will handle a variety of reception and administrative duties to ensure the smooth running of the clinic.
This is a **Full-Time Position**, offering significant potential for further training in sales and practice management.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Greeting patients warmly and creating a welcoming environment.
- Managing patient appointments, including scheduling, rescheduling, and recalls.
- Handling billing, payments, and processing stock sales with accuracy.
- Managing referrals and data entry for our large volume of patient records.
- Handling mail, scanning, photocopying, and general office duties.
- Potential assistance in managing social media platforms, including daily posts.
- Supporting the management of CRM software (training provided).
- Stock management, including ordering and conducting stocktake.
- Delivering a high level of customer service with professionalism and empathy.
**Skills and Experience Required**
- Minimum **12 months experience in a healthcare/medical receptionist role**.
- Proficiency with **Practice Management Software**.
- Exceptional customer service skills with evidence of training or experience.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong computer literacy, including experience with Microsoft Word and Excel.
- High level of numeracy skills to ensure accurate billing and balancing of takings.
- Outstanding organisational and multitasking abilities in a busy clinic environment.
- Friendly and approachable demeanour with a genuine caring attitude.
- Professional phone manner and well-presented appearance.
- Proven ability to adapt to meet the needs of patients of all ages, including the elderly and those with disabilities.
**Desirable Skills**
While not essential, the following skills would be highly regarded:
- Sales experience and confidence in discussing products or services.
- Marketing experience, including skills in graphic design.
- Proficiency in social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube).
- Experience with CRM software such as InfusionSoft, HubSpot, or Salesforce.
