**About the Opportunity**

We have two newly created Production Supervisor roles to join our industry leading Trend Ormeau facility. You will lead a skilled production workforce, focus will be on continual development and improvement of our safety culture; we live and breathe safety Driving quality improvements ensuring customer satisfaction will also be one of your top priorities along with driving the LEAN and continuous improvement methodology, and implementation of strategies to improve production performances.

In addition, you'll:

- improve engagement and culture through leadership, training and mentorship
- lead production employees ensuring performance levels are always maintained
- maintain timely production schedules and communicating issues or delays
- ensure daily high-quality production completion within agreed productivity benchmarks
- root cause identification and elimination of causes of lost productivity
- maintain a strong customer focus

**About You**

We're looking to leverage your experience in people management in a manufacturing environment along with managing and growing the capability of a medium size team of skilled production employees whilst maintaining high levels of employee engagement, as key deliverables of this role. You need to have open and transparent communication style, including the ability to gain trust, you need to have the ability to connect with a range of people at different levels and the capacity to work well across all stakeholder groups to provide operational advice.

In addition, you must have:

- previous supervisory experience within a manufacturing environment
- experience in or exposure to, Lean Manufacturing principles
- strong leadership skills with an ability to motivate your employees
- WHS exposure with a focus on Zero Harm at all times and at all costs
