All products are built to order in our factory in Ballarat, VIC.As we strive for continuous improvement and growth, we invite you to join our team of valued employees, working towards our future goals.About the roleAs a Fabricator Welder at Tommy Campers your role will see you responsible for meeting day-to-day aluminum sheet metal production requirements, assist with product improvement and various custom requirements.
Your proficient use of hand and power tools, with strong attention to detail will ensure all Tommy Camper components are built to the highest quality standards.Your responsibilities will include:Manufacture and fit custom-built aluminium trays.Operate CNC machines and press brakes to assist with broader manufacturing of slide on campers and canopies.Work with Draftsman to update and modify CAD files.What we're looking forTrade qualification (or solid professional experience) in aluminium TIG welding is essential.The ability to read and follow drawings.Experience with mechanical fitting desirable.Experience with CNC machine and press brake operation a plus.Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality; able to work in a team environment or unsupervised.BenefitsCompetitive rates, with overtime availableFull-time permanent positionImmediate start availableCareer growth opportunitiesGreat work environment in a modern facilityHow to applyIf you are interested in applying, please apply via Seek: ?
