About the role

As a Fabricator Welder at Tommy Campers your role will see you responsible for meeting day-to-day aluminum sheet metal production requirements, assist with product improvement and various custom requirements. Your proficient use of hand and power tools, with strong attention to detail will ensure all Tommy Camper components are built to the highest quality standards.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Manufacture and fit custom-built aluminium trays.
  • Operate CNC machines and press brakes to assist with broader manufacturing of slide on campers and canopies.
  • Work with Draftsman to update and modify CAD files.
What we're looking for
  • Trade qualification (or solid professional experience) in aluminium TIG welding is essential.
  • The ability to read and follow drawings.
  • Experience with mechanical fitting desirable.
  • Experience with CNC machine and press brake operation a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality; able to work in a team environment or unsupervised.
