Accounts Receivable Professional

This is a vital role within our organization's financial operations, focusing on the effective management of debtor accounts.

The successful candidate will be responsible for daily accounts receivable duties, including claims via major retailers' platforms and ERP systems, customer reconciliations, and processing store credits across multiple entities.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Manage end-to-end accounts receivable processes, ensuring accurate and timely payments from customers.
  • Perform daily banking tasks such as reconciling debtor accounts, credit card and travel invoices, fuel and Etag transactions, and supporting bank reconciliations.
  • Process product returns and store credits in line with company procedures, following up with sales representatives as required.
  • Support accounts payable functions, including raising purchase orders, filing documentation, and expense analysis.
  • Provide general administrative support, ordering supplies and handling ad hoc duties as directed by management.
  • Supervise and train part-time team members to ensure consistency and accuracy across tasks.
Requirements:
  • 6-8 years of experience in accounts receivable, with a strong understanding of AR processes.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a finance team.
  • Strong technical skills, with Microsoft Navision or Dynamics 365 Business Central experience an advantage.
  • A high level of accuracy and attention to detail, especially when handling large transaction volumes.
  • Comfortable challenging existing processes and suggesting practical improvements.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, building relationships across internal teams and external customers.
