The Magistrates' Court of Victoria is a jurisdiction within the Court Services Victoria statutory authority and has a long history of providing justice for the people of Victoria in metropolitan and regional courts across the state. The Court determines in excess of 300,000 cases per annum at 51 venues, equating to approximately 90 percent of all cases that come before Victorian courts each year. The Court aims to be an innovative, accessible, and responsive court that provides quality services to the Victorian community.

About the Role
The Magistrates' Court Technology Group is responsible for supplying operationally essential services to the Magistrates' Court and assisting in the provision of information and communications technology services working in close collaboration with Court Services Victoria.The Technology Operations Analyst will support the implementation of the technology strategy through analysis of detailed technology requirements and solutions designs.
Reporting to the Service Delivery Manager, the role will work with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders. Tasks involve gathering, documenting, and analysing requirements that will enable successful delivery of court technology solutions.
The position is also responsible for performing a range of communication, review, test, and quality assurance tasks that contribute to service deliverables.
The primary focus of the role is to provide a quality support service, with a high degree of customer service, technical expertise and timeliness to all staff and judiciary of the Magistrates' Court of Victoria.
About You
- Experience in testing, training, and implementation of business information systems
- Skills in designing, reporting, documenting, and implementing technology solutions
- Knowledge of industry best practices and experience with both hardware and software systems
- Ability to work independently and knowledge of agile team structures
- Experience conducting stakeholder interviews or focus groups and facilitation of workshops
- Excellent verbal and written communications, including illustration/desktop publishing skills
