Overview

Senior Technology Talent Partner - The University of Melbourne. The University of Melbourne offers a base pay range of A$109,093.00/yr – A$118,091.00/yr. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.

Responsibilities
  • Threat Monitoring: Conduct monitoring and analysis of security events across university systems.
  • Incident Response: Investigate and resolve sophisticated cybersecurity incidents, from detection to resolution.
  • Process Execution: Carry out and improve detection and response playbooks, ensuring comprehensive security coverage.
  • Critical Issue Management: Quickly assess and escalate high-priority security threats, coordinating rapid response efforts.
Qualifications
  • Hold university qualifications in cybersecurity, IT, or a related field.
  • Experience in an operational security setting e.g. SOC, DFIR.
  • Advanced knowledge of threat detection and incident response procedures.
  • Experience handling complex security incidents from end-to-end in large organizations.
  • Strong documentation and reporting skills for clear stakeholder communication.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and collaboration in a team environment.
