**About the role**:
Reporting to the IT Systems Manager, this role will be based in Coopers Plains and will take responsibility for maintaining and troubleshooting day to day IT support issues in a fast paced environment. The position will require a hands-on approach by a person with a positive attitude to get things done.
- Provide 1st and 2nd level support for ITC systems within a SOE.
- Monitor and respond quickly and effectively to requests received through the Service Desk.
- Setup and installation of new and redeployed hardware.
- Provide input to the knowledge base through creation of documentation and updating records of known errors and associated fixes.
- Assist with management of servers and infrastructure.
- Provide basic user training as required.
- Assist to develop, promote and increase business efficiencies of the company.
- Tertiary qualification in IT or equivalent industry certification.
- 2-3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. (English)
- Extensive experience with Microsoft products including Microsoft 365, Windows 10/11, Server 2016+ and Hyper-V.
- Working knowledge of AD, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy and general networking principles.
- Knowledge of network cabling, routing, switching and wireless technologies.
- High degree of personal integrity and confidentiality.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
