Credit Analyst – Asset Finance (B2B Lending) Salary: $90-120k + SuperI'm working with one of Australia's leading non-bank lenders as they expand their Asset Finance team. They are seeking a Credit Analyst to support their growing B2B lending portfolio and help deliver fast, fair and responsible outcomes to their customers.
The Opportunity In this role, you'll be responsible for assessing, analysing and approving credit applications from brokers and partners across a diverse range of business lending scenarios. You'll play a key part in balancing risk management with commercial, customer-focused decision making.
Key ResponsibilitiesAssess and decision asset finance applications in line with credit policy, risk appetite and regulatory requirementsInterpret financial statements, tax returns and bank statements to determine serviceability and creditworthinessLiaise with brokers, introducers and internal teams to clarify and structure dealsIdentify and escalate higher-risk applications where appropriateContribute to process and policy improvements to drive efficienciesEnsure compliance with all internal and external lending standards
What They're Looking ForExperience in credit analysis, ideally within asset finance, commercial lending, equipment finance or SME lendingStrong understanding of financial statements and business cashflow analysisSound judgment and decision-making skills with attention to detailThe ability to balance risk with commercial opportunityStrong communication and stakeholder management skillsTertiary qualifications in finance, accounting, commerce or a related field (advantageous)
