As Endeavour continues to grow and support the community and workplace as a leading disability service provider, we have an exciting opportunity for a **Data Engineering Manager**

The Data Engineering Manager is a critical position in our Data & Analytics team, responsible for creating and maintaining our Enterprise Data Solution. As a key leader in our dynamic team, you will provide support to Endeavour Foundation across all divisions in our effort to foster a data-driven culture.

**The role will include**:

- Create a robust data foundation by improving data quality and utilizing advanced technology, to enhance data integrity and accessibility with higher confidence levels.
- Establish data engineering capability, including platform architecture, data pattern development, ETL framework development, and Kimball methodology data modelling
- Collaborate with ICT Architects to plan for future data architecture needs.
- Develop a modern data platform that enables data democratization across the organization for both reporting and machine learning initiatives.
- Design a cloud-based data platform to replace the current on-premise platform.
- Design and build reports and dashboards with Power BI.
- Partner with data owners to identify business requirements for analytics, reporting, monitoring, and performance management.
- Create and deliver product roadmaps for Data & Analytics.
- Continuously evaluate new Data and Analytics technologies for suitability.

**What will you bring**:

- Minimum 5 years of experience in a management/ architecture and/or technical leadership role within a Data & Analytics team.
- Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology/ Statistics/ Data Science or a related discipline.
- Proven track record of migrating on-premise data solutions to modern, cloud-based data stacks.
- Extensive expertise in designing and implementing data patterns, including data modelling using the Kimball methodology.
- Ability to automate data ingestion of external data via APIs.
- Skilled in extracting insights and making recommendations based on data analysis.
- Proficient in developing BI reports and dashboards using tools such as Power BI.
- Proven experience in data profiling and wrangling to unify data sources and gain new insights for an organization.
- Excellent SQL proficiency.
- Experience implementing modern data stacks, such as Azure Data platform, Databricks, BigQuery, or Snowflake.
