We will change what it means to be a professional in our industry, and we hope you will join us and play a part in achieving our vision.ResponsibilitiesProvide technical input into projects as requiredUndertake design and drafting of civil engineering projects, including roads and drainage systems an early intermediate levelCoordinate design and drafting activities with drafters to ensure that drawing sets meet company standardsUtilise AutoCAD, 12D and other design software to create accurate plans and profilesCollaborate with senior designers and engineers to develop project solutions and ensure design accuracyDevelop innovative solutions to problems and take necessary action to expedite the successful accomplishment of assigned projectsPrepare reports and documentation, and manage project budgetsEnsure quality control processes for each project are implemented and documentedSkills and ExpertiseMinimum 2 years of Civil Design experienceDegree in Civil EngineeringStrong communication and relationship building with clients and stakeholdersExperience in the use of 12D software (Civil 3D, Drains & MUSIC), Proficient in AutoCADTechnical Drawing and presentation SkillsFamiliar with Australian standards, with a drive to learn and grow in the field of civil designAbility to work well in a team environment and contribute to group projectsFlexibility with working on various types of projects and tasks, working to strict deadlinesA keen eye for detail and accuracyEmployee BenefitsA range of flexible work optionsCommunity days and cultural celebrationsAccess to innovative technologyEmployee assistance programAnnual performance appraisal, learning and development plansRegular team-building activities, social activities, and team sportsPaid parental leaveOrion Group highly values diversity and is an equal opportunity employer.
