Job Description

As the Maintenance Technician you will play a pivotal role in the day-to-day maintenance operations of the Engineering Team, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently to maintain the property and hotel operations at peak performance. The role involves hands-on execution of duties related to the repair and upkeep of the property's plant, equipment, and machinery, including mechanical, hydraulic, and other systems.

THE ROLE

• Consistently provide exceptional service. Support colleagues across various departments and teams to ensure a seamless guest experience.
• Maintain fixtures and fittings in public areas and guest rooms, ensuring the hotel is kept to the highest standards of presentation and functionality.
• Carry out general room and preventative maintenance inspections with a focus on enhancing the guest experience and maintaining our commitment to excellence.
• Utilise the Maintenance Request System and liaise with Engineering team and other Departments on requirements of jobs and tasks whilst ensuring tasks are completed within adequate timeframes.
  
  

The Requirements

• Previous experience working in hotel or resort settings is advantageous.
• Experience in operating a variety of equipment, including small hand tools.
• Trade qualification highly desirable.
• Demonstrated experience in general building maintenance, engineering and/or construction.
• Ability to work a rotating roster including weekends and public holidays as required.
