Our Group's over 3000 team members across the East Coast, consistently strive to make a difference in the communities we serve.About the roleIn this role, you will act as a key interface between Zinfra field crews and the Jemena Electricity Network Asset Management team to ensure safety concerns are effectively captured, prioritised and addressed.
You will lead the investigation and implementation of new equipment, materials, and work practices that improve safety outcomes; support the integration of practical field insights into asset standards, designs, and risk assessments; and strengthen Jemena's ability to proactively mitigate safety risks across the distribution network and zone substations.This role will require you to spend approximately 50% of your time on site and 50% of your time in the office.About YouTo be successful in this, you will demonstrate solid industry experience ideally within electrical supply, and distribution network knowledge along with;Experience operating in the electrical environment with strong safety focusDeveloped strategic thinking, analytical and problem-solving skillsProven ability to build and maintain relationships with field and office-based workersExperience in risk assessment & management techniquesRelevant Tertiary qualification (Electrical Engineer with Chartered Engineer accreditation desirable)Why you should come and work for usOur people are our greatest strength and inspiration so having various flexible working options, paid parental leave and leave purchase plans amongst many other benefits are key foundational elements on which we have built our success.
