**About The Role**

**Roster**: 5:2 Monday to Friday / Flexible. We are keen to speak with you about how you will make this work

**Location**: Flexible, with travel to Adelaide or Perth offices and site as required

**Reporting to**: General Manager - West Musgrave

**Contract Type**:Permanent

**The Details**
Reporting to the General Manager - West Musgrave, you will play a key role in preparing the organisation to be ready to commission and operate the mine, site and wider business to deliver the tangible and intangible aspirations of OZ Minerals.

As the mine transitions through commissioning to operations, the role purpose will move to lead the mining and West Musgrave organisation to build a culture in alignment with 'How We Work Together' principles and the organisation's mission to go beyond what's possible to make lives better.

**Key Responsibilities During Operational Readiness**
- Leading the build of the West Musgrave culture in the wider West Musgrave team and the mining team in alignment with the OZ Minerals How We Work Together cultural framework to going beyond what's possible to make lives better
- Working with the project in the short term to finalise mining infrastructure to ensure longer term effective and efficient operation of the mine as part of an integrated operation
- Working with the project to select and make ready for an autonomous haulage fleet (potentially inclusive of autonomous drill/ ancillary fleet) and including the commissioning and ramp up to full capacity and capability
- With the wider West Musgrave organisation leading (for mining) organisational design including recruitment and onboarding of the future workforce using a standardised work method developed during operational readiness

**Applicant Requirements**
- Experience in integrated operations planning environments (either in operations or planning environment).
- Significant experience in optimising safe operations performance in autonomous mining fleet environments.
- Experience in operating in an environment with remote operations control.
- Degree qualified Mining Engineer or significant experience managing mine operation at a variety of organisational levels.
- Adaptive leadership capability with authentic and influential approach
- Delivery focussed with a keen interest in collaborating and innovating to get the work done
