Melbourne based Not-for-Profit Membership organisation seeks a results-driven General Manager of Membership to join their passionate and committed team. Develop and execute strategy to acquire, grow and retain membership. As an important member of the Executive Team, the General Manager, Membership will contribute to the organisation's strong culture of collaboration and excellence.

Reporting to the Executive Director and leading a team of 4, **key responsibilities** in this pivotal and diverse role will include:

- Develop and execute a membership strategy to increase membership
- Define the organisation's brand positioning as part of an overall communications and marketing strategy
- Deliver and execute membership fundraising appeals
- Work across the organisation to ensure an integrated approach to communication and marketing
- Assist with the development of the annual integrated communications calendar and review, create, and update membership marketing materials and oversee the production of collateral
- Ensure superior service delivery to members, including overseeing onboarding of new members, member communications, financial aspects, developing membership incentives and driving feedback
- Report on performance of the membership program, including recruitment, retention and member engagement
- Review and update membership policies and procedures
- Assist the Deputy Executive Director for Development to plan events for donors and members and develop and execute a fundraising strategy

- Relevant tertiary-level qualifications
- Proven experience in a membership organisation, providing exceptional membership experience and driving membership acquisition
- Ability to create and activate strategies, provide solutions and team manage
- Exceptional leadership skills
- Superior interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced deadline driven environment
- Experience working directly with the Executive Director/CEO and Board
