OverviewProject Support Officer – Environment & Heritage PlanningLocation: Sydney Metro – Parramatta (hybrid working, mixture of office and home).
Employment type: Temporary Full-Time up to 6 months.
Salary: Clerk Grade 5/6, $99,398 to $110,271 pa plus employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.
Generous leave entitlements including flex leave.
35 hrs per week; hours above that you earn flex leaves.

Brand new office next to train line, easily accessible.Your roleAs a Project Support Officer – Environment & Heritage Planning you will be supporting the Environment & Heritage Planning work program within the Planning & Investment team.
You will assist the team with the development and implementation of projects, including project plans, policies and solutions and contribute to issue resolution and escalation, research, analysis activities and planning and monitoring activities.What You'll DoAs part of the Environment & Heritage Planning team, you will be responsible for (but not limited to):Support the Environment & Heritage Planning work program in the management and development of environmental, planning, sustainability and heritage strategies and policiesContribute to the implementation and monitoring of plans under guidance to ensure the Department's assets comply with environment, planning and heritage legislationMonitor, track and report on the status of project deliverables to ensure time, cost and quality metrics are in line with approved project plans for assigned projectsAssist in maintaining a register of compliance with endorsed project management methodology, ITIL change management processes and other relevant organisational policies for audit purposesContribute to the development of project plans under guidance to develop future capabilityResearch and analyse options in relation to business cases and project deliverables to guide optimal decision makingProvide administrative and functional office support to the teamYou'll work as part of a team of five professionals that manage the environmental, heritage and planning matters for the Department's assets and who ensure compliance with relevant legislative requirements.
You'll have the opportunity to combine working from home and work in a modern office environment, as well as undertaking site visits on a regular basis.Essential RequirementsCurrent NSW Drivers Licence with ability and willingness to drive throughout NSW.
