Job Overview
The role of an Infrastructure Specialist is pivotal in facilitating the delivery of managed services and technical support for Cloud and Datacentre technologies. This position requires a collaborative approach, working closely with customers, internal stakeholders, and vendors to provide top-notch technical support and incident management.
The primary objective of this role is to deliver exceptional service to multiple enterprise customers across key technologies including VMWare, Microsoft, Cisco, and Public Cloud. Strong vendor management skills are essential in driving the right outcomes for our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Proactively maintain and monitor critical virtualised compute environments to ensure seamless operations.
Assist users with access and security management, owning the administration and management of user access domains and groups.
Identify and remediate vulnerabilities within defined SLAs across multiple platforms and vendors.
Monitor, diagnose, and solve performance issues that are or have the potential to be service impacting.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders and manage vendors to drive successful outcomes.
Contribute to the company's journey in supporting cutting-edge cloud-hosted and on-premises technologies including VMware vSphere, Windows Server Admin, Backup and Storage Platforms, Security and Protection applications, Active Directory admin and support, OS patch management using WSUS, SCCM, Repository server, Protection Applications (Symantec, Microsoft Defender), Vulnerability management and remediation, Service Now SNOW experience.
