Our Federal Government client is seeking to engage a Body Corporate Liaison Office on a contract for 5 months.

**Position Overview**

DUTIES / RESPONSIBILTIES

This position may at times require liaising directly with tenants or forwarding correspondence received from the strata.
- Job Task: Liaise directly with Body Corporate or Strata Management services and manage all Unit Plan enquiry matters.

Job Outcome: Provide timely information and advice relating to Annual General meetings, ad-hoc requests, and dealing with Body Corporate Owners Corporations raised issues.
- Job Task: Management of maintenance issues relating to building or common area enquires to ensure property standards are being upheld.

Job Outcome: Attend to reported maintenance issues between Body Corporate, Housing ACT and the Total Facilities Manager (TFM). This includes Key/Swipe Card/Remote requests to buildings and secure garages, modification or additions to a property request.
- Job Task: Monitor payment of Body Corporate fees and other relevant costs.

Job Outcome: Work with Housing ACT's Finance unit to ensure that all body corporate levy fees or other body corporate or strata costs are paid
- Job Task: Manage received complaints from Strata Manager's and work with other business units to address in accordance with legislative requirements.

Job Outcome: Concerns and complaints, including ministerial responses and relevant issues are received and referred to the Complaints Management Unit, in a timely professional manner, or escalated internally for senior management resolution
- Job Task: Represent Housing ACT at various Unit title forums and maintain collaborative working relationships with key stakeholders.

Job Outcome: Collaborative stakeholder relationships are developed and maintained within the Directorate and with other government and oversight agencies.
- Job Task: Develop ideas for service improvement and change.

Job Outcome: The team and management actively participate in innovation activities that results in more effective processes and services.
- Job Task: Manage files, tracks documentation, and prepares documents, as required

Job Outcome: High quality, accurate record keeping maintained, and IPA and KPI reports assist management to improve performance. Includes maintain Body Corporate Listings and action items for the Follow Up Register.
- Job Task: Compliance and standards

Job Outcome: Actions and behaviours are compliant with relevant legislation, regulations, and policies. Staff act in accordance with ACT Code of Conduct and Values, the Diversity and Inclusion Principles and Work Health & Safety practices.

**SELECTION CRITERIA**
- Demonstrated ability to provide quality customer service and management of Housing ACT owned properties under Body Corporate or Strata Management title.
- Demonstrated effective communication (oral and written) interpersonal and problem-solving skills and the ability to develop effective relationships with clients and with support services.
- Proven high quality organisational skills, including demonstrated capacity for attention to detail, experience in meeting tight deadlines and achieving results.
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and cooperatively in a team environment including the ability to utilise team resources effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to undertake research and analysis and provide sound advice.
- A demonstrated commitment to work in accordance with, and uphold the ACT Government Respect, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Framework and the Directorate's Work Health and Safety system.

ELIGIBILITY/OTHER REQUIREMENTS

Essential qualifications and experience:

- Current driver's licence.
- Experience in Strata management/ Body Corporate management environment.
- Prior to commencing in this role, a current registration issued under the Working with Vulnerable People (Background Checking) Act 2011 will be required.
