**Mechanical Draftsperson**

Digga is Australia's leading manufacturer of Machinery attachments for the Earthmoving & Construction industry. A multi-award winning, global company, with 5 State of the art facilities worldwide, our product & passion for providing total customer solutions is second to none.

Working as part of the Engineering Team, you will be responsible for Drafting concepts and innovative design solutions for current and new projects from start to finish, as well as production engineering drawing revision control for the workshop. You will be an experienced Mechanical Draftsperson with a minimum of 2 years' experience using Autodesk Inventor. We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual to join our dynamic Engineering/ Research & Development team based at our head office in Yatala, QLD.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Design and implement the manufacturing of new products.
- Perform improvements to existing products, and implement the change.
- Ensure that designs have a strong emphasis on performance, cost effectiveness, manufacturability and safety.
- Perform all necessary research, investigations, testing, and mechanical drafting to ensure a successful design.
- Identify, develop, and arrange tools, fixtures, and equipment to be used in the fabrication and assembly of designed components.

**You must have the following attributes & qualifications**:

- A working knowledge, or background in metal machining /fabrication & hydraulics
- Proficient in Autodesk Inventor 3D modelling and drafting with the ability to design from sketches or verbal concepts.
- Proficient in Autodesk Vault highly regarded
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work to deadlines, budgets and a fast-paced environment
- Drafting experience in a manufacturing environment highly regarded
- Certificate IV in engineering drafting highly regarded
