Draftsperson - AutoCAD - Sheetmetal

We are seeking a skilled Draftsperson to join our team at our premises in Yatala. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for creating 2D and 3D sheet metal designs using AutoCAD.

About the Role:

  • Design and develop detailed drawings for overall projects and manufacturing workshop processes.
  • Create development drawings for CNC machines.
  • Control and manage drawings and data.
  • Maintain knowledge of fabrication processes and materials.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Liaise closely with Workshop staff to ensure seamless collaboration.

Key Qualifications and Skills:

  • Minimum 2-5 years' experience in drafting or a related field.
  • Excellent skills in AutoCAD, including 2D and 3D design.
  • Strong understanding of fabrication processes and materials.
  • Able to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Possession of a mechanical or engineering trade background is highly regarded.
